The level 4 Certificate is designed for those who are currently teaching and training, including those who have just begun teaching and training and who can meet the requirements of 30 teaching hours to be undertaken during the course.
There are five mandatory units in the level 4 certificate, some that require you to be observed by your assessor. The topics include:

The delivery of teaching or training;

Planning to meet the needs of learners;

Assessing learners and using resources in education and training.
There is a range of optional units to choose from and your assessor will guide you in selecting the most appropriate units.
Progression from this qualification would be to the level 5 Diploma in Education and Training, which would be for the full teaching role.
